Larry Dunn (born Lorenzo Russell Dunn; June 19, 1953) is an American keyboardist, producer, songwriter and musical director, known as one of the original members of the music group Earth, Wind & Fire. Dunn was inducted, as a former band member, into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Colorado Music Hall of Fame.
Andrew Paul Woolfolk II (October 11, 1950 [1] – April 24, 2022) was an American saxophonist.Woolfolk was a longtime member of the band Earth, Wind & Fire from 1973 to 1985, and from 1987 to 1993.
He went on to play on EWF's LPs Touch The World (1987), The Best of Earth, Wind & Fire, Vol. 2 (1988), Heritage (1990), Millennium (1993) and In The Name of Love (1997). With EWF he earned a Grammy nomination in 1994 in the category of Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for the song " Sunday Morning ".
Earth, Wind & Fire: In Concert was recorded at the Oakland Coliseum on December 30–31, 1981. [1] The concert was at first broadcast in August 1982 on HBO and later released in 1984 on VHS by Vestron Video. As well the concert was re-issued on DVD in 2008 by Eagle Rock Entertainment. [1] [4]
In 2001, John Paris joined Earth, Wind & Fire as their drummer. Paris has since performed on the band's 2003 studio album The Promise, 2005's Illumination, 2013's Now, Then & Forever and 2014's Holiday. [4] [5] John Paris is also a member of the American music duo Back 2 Basics, which he formed with saxophonist Eddie Mininfield. [6]
