The Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority (SVCA) is a conservation authority in Ontario, Canada.It operates under the Conservation Authorities Act of Ontario. [1] It is a corporate body, through which municipalities, landowners and other organizations work cooperatively to manage the Saugeen River watershed [2] and natural resources within it.
The Saugeen flows westward into the town of Durham where it falls over McGowan Falls, a cascade waterfall in the Durham Conservation Area. Upon exiting the Durham Conservation Area the river crosses Ontario Highway 6 in downtown Durham. After leaving the town of Durham the Saugeen River turns northwest where it takes in the Rocky Saugeen River.
Blue Creek Metropark is a park and conservation area in Whitehouse and Waterville Township, Ohio, owned by Metroparks Toledo and partially leased to the city of Whitehouse. [4] The rustic area has a parking lot and a one-mile loop trail leading to a wetland and a quarry pond. Fishing is permitted in the pond.

" Wareham as a community dates back to roughly the European Settlement of this area, about the 1850s. Williamsford [25] is a village on the North Saugeen River in Grey County, Ontario, Canada (Chatsworth Township). It has a general store, post office, a bookstore [26] and restaurant housed in an historic grain mill. A small dam controls the North Saugeen River. It has several churches, and a community cemetery.
