An email was sent to our customers in 2017 warning that AOL Mail would no longer be accessible through third-party apps if connection settings weren't updated by November 7, 2017. In Mail on Mac, click Mail and then choose Settings from the menu. Select your AOL Mail account from the account list. Select the Server Settings tab. Delete and re-enter your AOL account password from the Password fields under the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server sections. Click Save.
Be aware some sections will link to the client's help page, and they can't answer questions about AOL Mail settings, or your Verizon.net username or password.
