The John Gottschalk Freedom Center is a newspaper production facility located at 14th Street and Capitol Avenue in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska. Built for the Omaha World-Herald , the building is considered to be one of the most automated and technologically advanced newspaper facilities in the world.
The Center includes several performance areas. The Peter Kiewit Concert Hall seats 2,005 and has a stage size of 64 feet by 48 feet; it is modeled after European "shoebox" shaped halls. The Suzanne and Walter Scott Recital Hall is a "black box" space with seating for 486 people and a stage size of 40 feet by 32 feet.

The Farnam Hotel is a 255 ft (78 m), 15-story skyscraper at the corner of South 13th and Farnam Streets in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska, United States. [2] It was built in 1990 as an office building and was formerly known as 1200 Landmark Center, [3] at one point housing the Omaha operations of Pacific Life. The hotel opened on May 20, 2021. [4]
