Kalamazoo Metro Transit (commonly known as KMetro) is a public transport service in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area. Service is primarily by bus, although a special door to door Metro County Connect service is also available for riders. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 1,819,500, or about 6,400 per weekday as of the third quarter of 2024.
The Kalamazoo Transportation Center is an intermodal complex in downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan. Both Amtrak and Greyhound provide regular service, and the center is also the major downtown transfer hub for Kalamazoo's Metro Transit bus system. Padgett Station is a multimodal transit facility that located in Wilmington's Upper Downtown neighborhood at 520 North 3rd St, and serves as a bus terminus for the Cape Fear Public Transportation Authority (Wave). Named after former Wilmington City Council member Laura W. Padgett, it was opened on January 18, 2020.

U.S. Route 421 Business (US 421 Bus) is a 9.9-mile (15.9 km) multi-lane business loop along Horner Boulevard, through downtown Sanford. Approved by AASHTO on May 3, 2013, its official establishment is dependent on the completion of the Sanford bypass, which mainline US 421 will be rerouted along, sharing with already established NC 87 Bypass .
