Vogel was born in Kansas City, Kansas. As a child, he was a fan of both Sesame Street and The Muppet Show. [2] He interned at Mesner Puppet Theater where he played his first role of Victor Frankenstein in Paul Mesner Puppets’ production of “Frankenstein” in 1993. Blue's Room is an American puppetry television series spin-off from Blue's Clues.It was created by Traci Paige Johnson and Angela Santomero. [1] The show aired on Nickelodeon as part of its Nick Jr. block, and originated as short segments on Blue's Clues episodes in season 6.
Sweetums was performed by Matt Vogel in 2011's The Muppets and Muppets Most Wanted. The character also appears at Walt Disney World's Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disneyland's Disney California Adventure in Muppet*Vision 3D. He is the only Muppet to appear "live" in the show.
