Matt Castlen (born August 14, 1986) is an American politician who last served in the Kentucky Senate representing the 8th district from 2019 to 2023. He previously served in the Kentucky House of Representatives from the 14th district from 2017 to 2019.
Within the district is the economic leading city of Owensboro. It has been represented by Gary Boswell (R–Owensboro) since 2023. [1] As of 2022, the district had a population of 121,147. [2] From 1966 to 1967, the district was represented by Wendell Ford, who would later be elected governor and U.S. senator from Kentucky.
