Hamilton County Schools (or Hamilton County Department of Education) is the school district that serves Hamilton County, Tennessee, USA. After a 1995 referendum, the then-separate Chattanooga City Schools district was merged into the county district in 1997. [2] About 2,300 high school seniors graduated from the system in May 2011. Blue Tent Creek is a stream in the U.S. state of California. [1] The stream flows for 9.5 miles (15.3 km) before it empties into the Sacramento River. [1]Two traditions attempt to explain the name "Blue Tent Creek": firstly, it may derive its name from the blue tent of a local prospector; secondly that it was named after a blue tent which was a landmark on a local stagecoach route.

The creek originates in the Coast Ranges and flows east for about 62 miles (100 km) to join the Sacramento River, at a point about 7 miles (11 km) northeast of Corning in Tehama County. [1] Thomes Creek is a highly seasonal stream and drains a mostly rural watershed of some 300 square miles (780 km 2). [2]
