On 2 February 2014, Air India Flight 191, a Boeing 777-300ER (registered VT-ALQ), flying from Newark to Mumbai, blew three tires after touching down on runway 27. There were no injuries among the 260 passengers and crew, and the place was able to taxi to the gate with assistance.
