Top Album Sales is a music chart published by Billboard magazine starting in May 1991, [1] and has existed in its current form since December 2014. It is a weekly chart documenting the best-selling albums on a weekly basis in the United States.
The most common period of time covered by a chart is one week, with the chart being printed or broadcast at the end of this time. Summary charts for years and decades are then calculated from their component weekly charts. Component charts have become an increasingly important way to measure the commercial success of individual songs.
It charted for one week at No. 18 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart, as well as on the Top Dance/Electronic Album Sales at No. 3. [ 31 ] [ 32 ] The album has numerous previously released singles, as well as new vocal and instrumental tracks that range from synth-pop to darkwave . [ 33 ]
