The beautiful sunbird (Cinnyris pulchellus), formerly placed in the genus Nectarinia, is a small passerine bird in the sunbird family Nectariniidae.It is native to tropical Africa, its range extending from Senegal and Guinea in the west to Sudan, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Kenya in the east.
The male painted bunting is often described as the most beautiful bird in North America and as such has been nicknamed nonpareil, or "without equal". [6] Its colors, dark blue head, green back, red rump, and underparts, make it extremely easy to identify, but it can still be difficult to spot since it often skulks in foliage even when it is singing.
Currawongs are dominant birds that can drive off other species, especially when settling around an area used or inhabited by people. [16] They have been known to migrate to towns and cities during the winter. [18] Birds congregate in loose flocks. [16] The female builds the nest and incubates the young alone, although both parents feed them.
