Ching-He Huang [1] MBE (Chinese: 黃瀞億; pinyin: Huáng Jìngyì; Wade–Giles: Huang 2 Ching 4-i 4; (born 8 April 1978), often known in English-language merely as Ching, is a Taiwanese-born British food writer and TV chef. She has appeared in a variety of television cooking programmes, and is the author of nine best-selling cookbooks.

An American of Chinese descent, Ching Ho Cheng was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1946. [1] Cheng was the son of Chiang Kai-shek's last ambassador to Cuba. During the mid-1960s he studied painting at the Cooper Union School of Art in New York City, and during the early seventies lived in Paris and Amsterdam, where, in 1976, he had his first one-man show.
