Pennsylvania Route 372 (PA 372) is an east–west highway in York, Lancaster, and Chester counties in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.Its western terminus is at PA 74 in Lower Chanceford Township north of Delta and west of Holtwood, and its eastern terminus is at PA 82 in Coatesville.
PA 82 is the main north–south road in Coatesville, running along Strode Avenue, Lincoln Highway, and North 1st Avenue, and heading north to Elverson and south to Kennett Square. PA 340 passes to the north of the city while PA 372 begins at PA 82 in Coatesville and heads west on Valley Road to Parkesburg and Atglen. [30] Coatesville Amtrak station

The route follows the alignment of the King's Highway, a colonial road built in 1733 that linked Lancaster and Philadelphia.The road was laid out by the provincial government of Pennsylvania [7] along what was once known as "Old Peter's Road," a trade route used by the French-Canadian fur trader Peter Bisaillon (1662-1742).
The route intersects many important roads including U.S. Route 1 (US 1) near Kennett Square, PA 162 and PA 842 in Unionville, US 30 in Coatesville, and US 322 in Brandywine Manor. PA 82 is a two-lane undivided road most of its length.
There are plans for improvements to be made to the US 30 freeway bypassing Coatesville and Downingtown in Chester County. The project is split into a western section between PA 10 near Parkesburg and PA 82 in Coatesville and an eastern section between Reeceville Road near Coatesville and US 30 Bus. east of Downingtown.
The road crosses the West Branch Brandywine Creek and a Brandywine Valley Railroad line at-grade before PA 82 splits from US 30 Bus. by heading northwest on North 1st Avenue.
