Mbabane (/ ˌ ʌ m b ɑː ˈ b ɑː n eɪ /; [1] Swazi: ÉMbábáne, IPA: [ɛ́ᵐbʱáɓánɛ]) is the most populous city in Eswatini (previously called Swaziland), and is one of the two capitals (along with Lobamba), serving as the executive capital.

Within Eswatini there is a mix of national, private and community-owned protected areas. They include national parks, nature reserves, wildlife sanctuaries and game reserves.

It is Eswatini's largest protected area [5] and park. [1] The park and its adjacent dispersal areas cover 30,000 hectares (300 km 2) of Swazi bushveld. [3] It is a flat lowland area, covered with ancient hardwood trees like knobthorn, leadwood and tambuti, with some grasslands and shallow pans. [3]
