Lookout Mountain is a city entirely within Walker County, Georgia, United States. Bordering its sister town of Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, Lookout Mountain is part of the Chattanooga metropolitan statistical area. The population was 1,641 at the 2020 census. The city is located on Lookout Mountain, home to such attractions as Rock City.
The caves of Ruby Falls are in Lookout Mountain, and the rock formations of the "City of Rocks" (or Rock City) attraction are situated on the ridge. The area is home to the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway, Covenant College, and a hang-gliding school. Lookout Mountain is one of Chattanooga's most visited tourist attractions.
On the southwestern edge of Lookout Mountain, they cut across the eastern edge of Covenant College. They briefly run along the Dade–Walker county line, with SR 157 splitting off onto McFarland Road, back into Walker County. It briefly heads south on Lula Lake Road, before heading east on Red Riding Hood Trail.
