Another useful thing to point out is that MCSkin3D is also a skin management program, letting you easily store your skins in a safe place (separate from your main "skins" folder you may have elsewhere on your harddrive), and also let you directly upload to Minecraft.net in the click of one button. -P.

My first release here, I present to you MCSkin3D: a 3d, real-time skin editor for Minecraft! Unlike other real-time editors, this editor actually lets you paint on the model, as well as the 2d texture map, also providing a neat management facility for all of your installed skins, and a convenient upload button. Overview.
Hi, I am working on a large mod pack at the moment. So i got stuck at this problem. When i save an armour texture from mcskin3d it has the "skin" in it too. I need a way to completely remove the skin and just use the armour texture.
Maybe add 2D view support for Visible Parts. On the 3D view you can remove certain parts to make it easier to edit. But this doesn't apply to the 2D view as well... That would be very useful for people trying to make a random design (ex: Hair on the hat layer) but only want to do a certain section.
When i was done i clicked 'save' and exited. 'save' Doesn't work for me i need to click 'save as', but when i went back into the program to re-save my skin, as I've done tons of times before, it wouldn't open any longer. So i re-installed the program 'MCSkin3D' and, as deleting and re-installing programs goes, everything was deleted.
MCSkin3D.Forms.Splash Void PerformLoading() - C:\Users\Paril\Documents\GitHub\mcskin3d\Splash\Splash.cs 90:5 Might be an outdated version, considering it comes with some other stuff (also the user thing is on purpose, not a problem with the path)
MCSkin3D uses OpenGL for rendering, the same rendering API that Minecraft uses, so it's probably the closest you'll ever get. The one in SkinEdit appears to be a software renderer, hence the fuzziness. The swatches' color values are all separate (see the Swatches/ folder, the .swc files are just plain text), so you shouldn't have any trouble there.
