Yes, I wanted to sell it quickly, because I had to pay for the $1500 RTX, and the 2 BIM-13-2 wideband modules that retail for $99 each. I have to hope it comes in soon. I got a discount, but it was still over twice what I sold my VHX gauges for. I had got a deal on the VHX from a local shop that is a dealer.
Well now that my car is in the shop and the Dakota Digital gauges are towards the end of the workflow chart I see via a Mopar Connection Magazine email that Dakota Digital has a NEW offering, the RTX style. The RTX style looks just like the original factory gauges, including the Tic Toc Tach, and has one large TFT LCD display. It has user setup ...
38,786. Reaction score. 141,254. Location. Granite Bay CA. In 2015, I swapped in a Dakota Digital instrument cluster in my 1970 Charger. At the time, I didn't think of posting about it. I have a little free time while I'm waiting to resume some changes to the car so I thought I'd revisit this upgrade. I bought the car in March of 2000.

Pick a fair hourly rate ($50) and charge him time and material. Ok thanks. Did some googling. One guy says he did his in about 8 hours. As long as I don't have to go hunt adapters and crap like that I'm pretty sure it can be done in less time. As long as I don't have to go hunting pieces and parts to make it work.
A little additional Dakota Digital info, now from personal experience: The work done/systems installed: Wraptor serpentine belt and accessories system including new water pump (which it turned out meant a new timing chain cover), alternator, AC compressor, power steering pump and remote reservoir, and of course the bracket and pulleys. Vintage ...
My water pump has 4 holes. 2 for heater hoses, a 1/2" hole reduced to 3/8" for the Sniper sensor, then there's the small 1/8" hole. Its a 426 Hemi with a 6-71 blower. I don't think I have enough room under the blower to add an extension with a port under the water neck. Thanks.
Does anyone have any info on Dakota Digital gauges for 71-74? I recall a member saying he had DD make a custom set for him, but I can’t find it now and don’t think he ever posted any photos. I heard some rumor it would be a standard set coming out in 2023, and even got a like from them when I asked that on their Facebook page, but no other ...
