The Very Best of the Beach Boys is a compilation album released by the American rock and roll band the Beach Boys. The album was released by EMI in 2001 and features 30 of their greatest hits digitally remastered. It is the first compilation of the Beach Boys that makes a full retrospective of their career.
The album produced one music video for the title track. Kevin Max of dc Talk does background vocals on "God's Not Dead". The album hit No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart, and its lead single, "God's Not Dead (Like a Lion)", originally written by Daniel Bashta, was certified Gold by the RIAA. [ 5 ]
