Wendy Ann Melvoin (born January 26, 1964) is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter, best known for her work with Prince as part of his backing band the Revolution, and for her collaboration with Lisa Coleman as one half of the duo Wendy & Lisa.
Lisa Coleman (born August 17, 1960) is an American composer, musician and singer-songwriter, primarily on keyboards and piano. Coleman is known for her tenure as a member of Prince's backing band The Revolution from 1980 to 1986, as well as Wendy & Lisa, her musical partnership with fellow Revolution alum Wendy Melvoin.
In 2012 he joined his former bandmates at a full-scale Revolution reunion which was set up by drummer Robert "Bobby Z." Rivkin to raise money and awareness for heart disease; Prince attended the performances but did not participate. Starting in 2023, Dez, periodically, starting filling in for different hosts at Super Talk 99.7 WTN in Nashville, TN.
