Shirlie Kemp (née Holliman; born 18 April 1962) is an English singer, who found fame in the 1980s with Wham! and as part of the duo Pepsi & Shirlie. Early years [ edit ]
The act comprised Helen "Pepsi" DeMacque (born 10 December 1958, Paddington, London) and Shirlie Holliman (born 18 April 1962, Watford, Hertfordshire), who had been Wham! backing vocalists. Holliman's original singing partner, Dee C. Lee, had earlier left the group to join the Style Council and later married its lead vocalist Paul Weller. [2]

Kemp has been married to Shirlie Holliman since 1988. [35] Holliman is a former backing singer of the group Wham! [36] and one half of the 1980s pop duo, Pepsi & Shirlie. [37] The couple have one daughter, Harley Moon and a son, Roman [38] [39] (born January 1993). He is a patron of British/Irish charity the Encephalitis Society. [40]
