The Škoda Felicia (Typ 781 and 791) is a B-segment car produced by the Czech carmaker Škoda Auto from 1994 to 2001. It was the last model on Škoda's own platform, but was one of the first models to benefit from Škoda Auto's takeover by the German company Volkswagen Group.
They were originally produced for the Czechoslovak Army and were used extensively by the Wehrmacht in the Polish campaign, the Fall of France and the German invasion of the Soviet Union. In July 1944, Škoda started production of the Jagdpanzer 38(t). In 1924, Škoda Works acquired the Laurin & Klement car manufacturer, later known as Škoda Auto.
These gearboxes replaced the previously used DQ250 6-Speed "wet" dual-clutch gearbox. The newer DQ381 is a "wet" dual-clutch 7-Speed Gearbox. Since 2021, Skoda began equipping the 2.0 Litre 4x4 petrol-engined models with the EA888 Evo4 engine, engine code DNFE which increased output back up to 206kW.
