Plainfield North High School (PNHS) is a four-year public high school located in Plainfield, Illinois, a southwest suburb of Chicago, in the United States. Founded in August 2005, it is one of four high schools in the Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 . [ 5 ]
Plainfield North was a newly established school and Romeoville came from the former South Inter-Conference Association North division. Morris left the SPC following the 2008–09 school year to join the North Central Illinois Conference. Newly established Plainfield East High School would replace them. [1]
The district includes 22 schools, including one early learning center, 14 elementary schools for grades K-5, 5 junior high schools for grades 6–8, and 2 high schools. The district serves Oswego, Aurora, Montgomery, Plainfield, Yorkville, and Joliet. Total enrollment as of 2012 was about 18,000 students.
