Rivne Oblast (Ukrainian: Рівненська область, romanized: Rívnensʹka óblastʹ), also referred to as Rivnenshchyna (Ukrainian: Рівненщина, romanized: Rívnenščyna), is an oblast in western Ukraine. Its administrative center is Rivne. The surface area of the region is 20,100 square kilometres (7,800 sq mi).
The first written mention of the village was in 1444. [3] In 1871 a Czech colony was established on it, called Český Malin, and later Kolonia Malin.
