The Flight of Dragons is a 1982 animated fantasy film produced and directed by Jules Bass and Arthur Rankin Jr. loosely combining the speculative natural history book of the same name (1979) by Peter Dickinson with the novel The Dragon and the George (1976) by Gordon R. Dickson. [1]
According to Dickinson's hypothesis, the chief obstacle to admitting the past existence of dragons is the difficulty of powered flight by such a large organism. To resolve this, he introduces a dirigible-like structure in which hydrochloric acid would dissolve large amounts of rapidly growing bone, releasing massive amounts of hydrogen that, once aloft, would support the body above the ground.
The fourth season of Yu-Gi-Oh!Duel Monsters, created by Kazuki Takahashi, was broadcast in Japan on TV Tokyo from February 18 to December 17, 2003. In the United States, the season was broadcast under the subtitle Waking the Dragons, and aired from September 11, 2004 to May 28, 2005 on Kids' WB.
