District 8 is represented by Senator Alexis Weik (R) and covers Massapequa and North Massapequa and parts of southwestern Suffolk County. District 9 is represented by Senator Patricia Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick (R) and covers Valley Stream, Elmont, Floral Park, Malverne, Lynbrook, the Five Towns, East Rockaway, and Long Beach.
