The Sandhills Global Event Center, known as the Lancaster Event Center until December 2023, is a public non-profit fairgrounds-style event complex located in Lincoln, Nebraska owned and operated by the Lancaster County Agricultural Society. It was originally built to provide a permanent home for the Lancaster County Fair and other community events.

Here’s a look at five holiday events coming up in the area. Lights in Lincoln Park Back for the 13th year, Lights in Lincoln Park will run Nov. 29-30, Dec. 5-7 and then every night Dec. 12-29.
Also located at the Deschutes County Expo Center is a conference center known as the Three Sisters. These three buildings have 33,736 square feet of total space. The largest is the Middle Sister, at 14,904 square feet, used for banquets, conferences and trade shows. It can accommodate 1,568 for smaller concerts.

Sisters is the headquarters of the Sisters District of the Deschutes National Forest. The Sisters Ranger District Office is located at Pine Street and Highway 20. [ 18 ] Hiking, biking and horse riding trails go from the city limits into the Three Sisters Wilderness .
