Moolah Temple. The Moolah Temple of St. Louis, designed in 1912 by Helfensteller of Helfensteller, Hirsch and Watson, has been described as an "architectural gem". [1] [6] Helfensteller gave the building "a Moorish feel with a brick facade, winding staircases, vaulted ceilings and ornate, boldly colored tile. The whole thing costed $250,000."
Layla was born around 648 AD (AH 28 in the Hijri) in the Najd, and the date of her death is unknown. She died during the reign of the fifth Umayyad caliph Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan in the 1st century of the Hijri in the Arabian Desert. Layla is born four years after Qays in a town called an-Najūʿ(النجوع) in the tribe of Banu Amir.
Laila Majnu Ki Mazar (lit=the mausoleum of Layla and Majnun) is situated at Binjaur, a village near Anupgarh in the Sri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan. According to the local legend, the famous lovers Laila and Majnu died here. A fair, held annually in the month of June, is attended by hundreds of couples and newlyweds.
