Slax version 7 was announced on the developer's blog (which has now been integrated into a newly refreshed Slax website). Slax 7 supports both 64-bit and 32-bit architectures, and according to its download page, "is available in more than 50 languages". It also features a stripped-down version of KDE 4, a new wallpaper, and a new module system.
It is inspired by Portage, [3] which is the package management system used by the Gentoo Linux distribution. BitBake existed for some time in the OpenEmbedded project until it was separated out into a standalone, maintained, distribution-independent tool. BitBake is co-maintained by the Yocto Project and the OpenEmbedded project.
It supports Intel-style assembly language on the IA-32 and x86-64 computer architectures. It claims high speed, size optimizations, operating system (OS) portability, and macro abilities. [2] [3] It is a low-level assembler [3] and intentionally uses very few command-line options. It is free and open-source software.
An object-oriented operating system [1] is an operating system that is designed, structured, and operated using object-oriented programming principles. An object-oriented operating system is in contrast to an object-oriented user interface or programming framework , which can be run on a non-object-oriented operating system like DOS or Unix .

GCOS-64, a completely different 32-bit operating system for the Level 64 series, similar to Multics, was designed by Honeywell and Honeywell Bull developers in France and Boston. [9] GCOS-62, [10] [9] the operating system for another 32-bit low-end line of machines, the Level 62 series, was designed in Italy.
MenuetOS is an operating system with a monolithic preemptive, real-time kernel written in FASM assembly language. The system also includes video drivers. It runs on 64-bit and 32-bit x86 architecture computers. Its author is Ville M. Turjanmaa. It has a graphical desktop, games, and networking abilities (TCP/IP stack).
Structure of monolithic kernel and microkernel-based operating systems, respectively. Reflecting on the nature of monolithic kernel based systems, where a driver (which has, according to Minix creator Tanenbaum, approximately 3–7 times as many bugs as a usual program) [17] can bring down the whole system, [18] Minix 3 aims to create an operating system that is a "reliable, self-healing ...
