The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) is an autonomous regulatory authority in Pakistan responsible for prescribing regulations and procedures for public procurement by Government of Pakistan-owned public sector organizations and monitoring of procurement undertaken by other public sector organizations under the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority Ordinance of May 2002. On 28 March 2002 the Federal Government of Pakistan established Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), in pursuance of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority Ordinance, 2002. The Natural Gas Regulatory Authority (NGRA) was subsumed by the OGRA, all properties and works done by the NGRA were transferred to and protected under the OGRA Ordinance.

The Delhi Metro Railway (Operation and Maintenance) Bill, 2002 (Bill No. 73 of 2002) was introduced in the Lok Sabha on 21 November 2002 by then Urban Development Minister Ananth Kumar, and was passed by that House on 25 November. [2] [3] The bill was moved in the Rajya Sabha by Ananth Kumar on 2 December 2002. [1]
