This memorial was originally in the Church of St Andrew, Oxmarket, damaged in the 1939-45 war, now the Chichester Centre of Arts. Inscription: John Cawley Of the parish of St Andrews, thrice mayor of this city, was buried in this church May 3rd 1621. His son William Cawley was baptized here in 1602.
