Justin Herdman is an American lawyer who served as the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio from 2017 to 2021. [1]Previously, Herdman was a partner in the investigations and white collar defense practice group at Jones Day, a Judge Advocate General in the United States Air Force Reserve, and an adjunct law professor at Case Western Reserve University.

The United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (in case citations, N.D. Ill.) is the federal trial court with jurisdiction over the northern counties of Illinois. It is one of the busiest federal trial courts in the United States, with famous cases including those of Al Capone and the Chicago Eight. [1]
Since 2005, she has served as an assistant United States attorney in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Ohio. [2] While in that role, from 2010 to 2011, she served as the deputy chief of the Major Fraud and Corruption Unit and since 2017, she has served as the chief of the Appeals Unit.
From 2003 to 2010, he worked as a senior attorney at Calfee Halter & Griswold in Cleveland. From 2010 to 2016, he served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Ohio. [2] Prior to Ruiz becoming a United States magistrate judge, he served as a pro bono attorney for The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland. [3]
