Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan is an anime series adapted from the manga series of the same title written and illustrated by Hiroshi Shiibashi. The clan was once led by a human named Sanmoto Gorozaemon who grew in power by spreading stories about yōkai and in turn created them.
