Leake moved to Chester in 1951 and began working for the Lewis M. Hunt Funeral Home. In 1959, she opened her own business, the W.M. Leake Funeral Home, at Third and Broomall Streets in Chester. The Methodist Protestant Church continued to maintain the building until 1921 when they sold it to the Benjamin Chapel Association. The association was named for Benjamin B. Allender, who was instrumental in building the church. Regular church services and Sunday school classes were held until 1940, and occasionally until 1952.
Kent Union Chapel and Cemetery is a historic building and cemetery located north of Brooklyn, Iowa, United States. They are named for the Kent family who moved to Poweshiek County from Putnam County, Indiana in 1853. They acquired property near Joseph Enochs who had arrived a year earlier.
