The University Hospital of the Saarland (German: Universitätsklinikum des Saarlandes or UKS) is the hospital of Saarland University in Homburg, Saarland, Germany. [ 18 ] [ 19 ] It is concentrated on a campus south of the city center, with more than 100 clinic buildings scattered across more than 200 hectares of forest.

Anna Katharina Herta Hirsch (born 1982 in Trier) is a German-Luxembourg chemist and professor of medicinal chemistry at Saarland University.Since 2017, she has headed the Department of Drug Design and Optimization at the Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland (HIPS).
