The Yale Postdoctoral Association (YPA) is an association composed of postdocs from all disciplines working at the Yale University. The goal of this association is to create a sense of community among postdocs, as well as to improve their experience at Yale. It organizes professional development and social events around Yale. [1]

After an evaluation in 2018, the Foundation then relaunched the program for 2019 as the Arnold O. Beckman Postdoctoral Fellowship in Chemical Sciences or Chemical Instrumentation. [4] The purpose of the program is to support advanced research by postdoctoral scholars in fundamental chemistry research or the development of chemical instrumentation.
They are selected through a competitive application process. Each year, the program selects 16 World Fellows to reside at Yale for the fall semester to study, share their knowledge, and expand their networks. The World Fellows program is located in Horchow Hall, within the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs, on Hillhouse Avenue.
