This is a list of destinations that were served by British Midland International over its time as an airline. [Note 1] [Note 2] On 28 October 2012, all remaining services were merged into British Airways (BA).
The Midland Main Line (MML), sometimes also spelt Midland Mainline, is a major railway line from London to Sheffield in Yorkshire via the East Midlands. It comprises the lines from London's St Pancras station via Leicester, Derby/Nottingham and Chesterfield. Express passenger services on the line are operated by East Midlands Railway (EMR).
British Midland operated its final Viscount flight on 20 February 1988, 21 years after the airline had first operated the type. [5] That year, British Midland also became the first to operate the British Aerospace (BAe) ATP for which it had been the launch customer. The BAe ATP was the airline's last turboprop type.
