The 1830 United States census, the fifth census undertaken in the United States, was conducted on June 1, 1830. The only loss of census records for 1830 involved some countywide losses in Massachusetts, Maryland, and Mississippi. It determined the population of the 24 states to be 12,866,020, of which 2,009,043 were slaves.
In 2012, FamilySearch Indexing collaborated with Archives.com and FindMyPast to index the 1940 US Federal Census. [ 3 ] In 2014, an emphasis was placed on obituary projects. As of December 2015, the organization had indexed 1,379,890,025 records since its inception.

In January 1833, he heard Brigham Young preach that same Gospel, in the township of Loughborough Township, Upper Canada and he went on to become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was baptized on March, 20 1833, in Loughborough Township. The total population included 2,487,355 slaves.
