Cube is a 1997 Canadian science fiction horror film directed and co-written by Vincenzo Natali. Cube, the first film in the series, follows a group of seven frightened strangers who find themselves trapped in a bizarre maze of cubical rooms, with no memory of how they arrived there. Nicole de Boer (born 20 December 1970) is a Canadian actress. She is best known for starring in the cult film Cube as Joan Leaven, playing Ezri Dax on the final season of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1998–1999), [4] and as Sarah Bannerman on the series The Dead Zone (2002–2007).
