Hey all, Wanted to check in to see what the latest is on bodies made by wildwood manufacturing / MJT. Are people finding the bodies are pretty representative, shape wise, to Fender custom shop stuff. How did the finish / project turn out for you? I'm thinking of getting them to do a sparkle red...

I just got a strat with a one piece wildwood body finished by mjt and a Danocaster neck. Its the best strat I have ever had. The body is really light and lots of relicing but looks truly old.
Chapman MII guitars are made by Wildwood. Schecter MII guitars (at least some of them) are also made by Wildwood. For what it's worth, LTD uses at least two Indonesian factories: LTD 1000 series MII guitars are made by Wildwood; LTD 256 series MII guitars are made in another Indonesian factory, which is neither Wildwood nor Cort.
I’m having a case of GAS and wanting a LP. In the past 6 yrs I bought a 335 and an acoustic from Sweetwater. For those of you who bought from Wildwood, I’d like to hear about your overall experience, the quality of the guitar & setup out-of-the-box, and your current opinion of the value (bang for buck).
Lollar pups in Nash are $300.00 alone and finding that exact neck carve might be hard. Bottom line, haggle with dealer and for about $1,600-$1,900.00 and you'll own a new Nash.
The body I think is from Wildwood Manufacturing. I've already had to dremel out some wood in the block rout to get the trem to fit right. The trem is decked as I want it, but I realized one side of the bridge plate, the side where the block is touching the wood, isn't completely decked... it's very very slightly above the body.

Wildwood is still making the bodies (they do Fender Custom Shop too). I just finished my build using one of their bodies. I'd sent them images to work off of and I didn't want anything too heavy in the relic dept. They delivered. I asked for the body to be under 4 pounds and it did indeed...
”We have received your body from being custom made at Wildwood Manufacturing and it is currently in the production queue waiting to go in with your neck when it arrives.” Like I said, I’ve never gone done this route before, but from that it seems they’re not starting any finish work on it until then.
