Once I got someone with the extension to check it, it showed up in the database (for everyone). (I wasn't aware you needed someone with the extension to check your inventory; I thought it just auto-detects/scans your inventory.)

FloatDB is just a database that tracks and keeps records of available public items. Its not 100% accurate real-time (far from it actually). The last time it registered that specific skin was when it found it publicly listed on the market. But if its been sold, it would only update if re-registered to the new owner.
