    I don't understand why everyone thinks the Chinese abacus always has 2 beads on the top and 5 beads on the bottom. I'm Chinese and my Chinese abacus has 1 bead on the top and 4 beads on the bottom. Almost all new abacuses have one bead on the top and 4 beads on the bottom. Chenhsi 18:29, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
