The Fremantle Passenger Terminal is a maritime passenger terminal at Victoria Quay, Fremantle. It was built between 1960–62, replacing the former cargo sheds located at the site of construction. [1] [2] [3] It was opened in time for arrival of competitors for the Empire Games in 1962.

Fremantle Harbour consists of the Inner Harbour, which is situated on the mouth of the Swan River; and the Outer Harbour, which is 20 kilometres (12 mi) to the south. It is managed by the Fremantle Port Authority.
