Gainbridge Fieldhouse is an indoor arena located in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, United States.It opened in November 1999 to replace Market Square Arena.The arena is the home of the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Indiana Fever of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).

Market Square Arena (MSA) was an indoor arena in Indianapolis.Completed in 1974, at a cost of $23 million, it seated 16,530 for basketball and 15,993 for ice hockey.Seating capacity for concerts and other events was adjusted by the use of large curtains which sealed off the upper rows.
Near the end of the 2019 season, the Fever announced that they would move their home games to Butler University's Hinkle Fieldhouse for the 2020 and 2021 seasons, plus at least part of the 2022 season, to accommodate renovations of Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
