Daniel Roy Gilchrist Noboa Azín [a] (/ n oʊ ˈ b oʊ ə / noh-BOH-ə; Spanish pronunciation: [daˈnjel noˈβo.a]; born 30 November 1987) is an Ecuadorian politician and businessman who is currently serving as the 48th president of Ecuador since 2023.

Álvaro Fernando Noboa Pontón (born November 21, 1950) is an Ecuadorian businessman and politician. He is the father of the incumbent president, Daniel Noboa. Noboa has been actively involved in politics as a perennial candidate, unsuccessfully running for the office of President of Ecuador in 1998, 2002, 2006, 2009 and 2013.
Daniel Noboa announced his presidential candidacy in May 2023 following the Ecuadorian political crisis.
