The popularity of Minecraft mods has been credited for helping Minecraft become one of the best-selling video games of all time. A wishing well is a term from European folklore to describe wells where it was thought that any spoken wish would be granted. The idea that a wish would be granted came from the notion that water housed deities or had been placed there as a gift from the gods.
"Wishing Well" is a song by the English rock band Free. It was written by the entire group about their close friend Bevan T. Woodhouse. It was released in December 1972 as a single and entered the UK Singles Chart on 13 January 1973, reaching number 7. The single was re-released in 1985 and reached number 96 in the UK Singles Chart.
