The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is the largest livestock exhibition and rodeo in the world. It includes one of the richest regular-season professional rodeo events. Since 2016, the PRCA has had a partnership with the Federación Mexicana de Rodeo (FMR) (Mexican Rodeo Federation). Rodeo contestants compete in a series of events co-sectioned by the PRCA and FMR called the PRCA-FMR Tour. It has a year-end finals event and the tour champions from the previous calendar year competed at the NCFR beginning in 2017.
