Get a Job is a 2016 American comedy film directed by Dylan Kidd and written by Kyle Pennekamp and Scott Turpel, about a group of friends who graduate from college and their efforts to secure employment.

It reached the number one spot on the Billboard pop and R&B singles charts in February 1958, [1] and was later included in Robert Christgau's "Basic Record Library" of 1950s and 1960s recordings, published in Christgau's Record Guide: Rock Albums of the Seventies (1981). The Silhouettes were formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, in 1956, at first using the name The Thunderbirds. [1] Their classic hit "Get a Job" – originally the B-side to "I Am Lonely" – was issued by their manager, Kae Williams, on his own Junior Records label [1] before being sold to the nationally distributed Ember label in late 1957.
