The XT250 is branded the SEROW 250 in Japan. In 2013, the USA XT250 received a fuel-injected engine. In January 2020, Yamaha Japan released the Serow Final Model, discontinuing the little bike due to increasing emission requirements. This is its final year. The Yamaha XT225, or known in some markets as the Yamaha Serow (from the Japanese serow), was a dual-sport motorcycle produced by Yamaha from 1986 to 2007. The XT225 was preceded and superseded by the XT250. Power is supplied by a 223cc single-cylinder, air-cooled four-stroke engine featuring a SOHC and 2 valves. [1]

The Yamaha XTZ 250 is a dual-sport motorcycle designed and produced by Yamaha Motor do Brasil, starting in 2006.It is a variant of the XT250, which is marketed worldwide, and derives from the 1975 XT500 model, which established a successful range of dual-sport motorcycles, including the XT600 Ténéré, that greatly contributed to Yamaha's image.
In 1991, the somewhat obsolete XT600Z Ténéré was replaced by the water-cooled, five-valve Yamaha XTZ660, which failed to carry on the legendary reputation of its air-cooled predecessors. Over the years, the XT was built in 600 different variants, most of which only differ from one another in appearance.
The bike became an instant success and was produced until 1981 when it was replaced by four-valve engines. It laid the ground for the later range of XT bikes ranging from 125 cc to the current 660 cc (Yamaha XT660Z Ténéré) and contributed largely to Yamaha's image. In France alone, 62,000 XT 500s were sold from 1976 to 1990.

The XT1200Z is the largest in a series of dual-sport Yamaha motorcycles named after the Ténéré, a desert region in the south central Sahara. It features a liquid-cooled four-stroke , fuel-injected 1,199 cc (73.2 cu in) parallel-twin engine with a 270° crank , which powers the motorcycle through a six-speed gearbox and shaft drive .
The Yamaha XT125R is a four-stroke, single cylinder enduro/adventure motorcycle. [1] It was made by Yamaha since the 2003 model year. It shares its power plant with the YBR125 and its supermoto brother, the Yamaha XT125X .
