The Supreme Court of Georgia is located at the Nathan Deal Judicial Center in Atlanta. The Supreme Court of Georgia is the highest judicial authority of the U.S. state of Georgia. The court was established in 1845 as a three-member panel, increased in number to six, then to seven in 1945, and finally to nine in 2017. [1]
County seat moved to Milledgeville in 1807. County courts held in the state capitol until 1808. 1814: Milledgeville: 1847: Milledgeville: Destroyed by fire on 24 February 1861. [15] County court held in various locations afterwards. 1887: Milledgeville: Baldwin County Courthouse: Remodeled in 1937 and 1965. Still in existence.
There is also a business court in the Fulton County (Atlanta) Superior Court, the Metro Atlanta Business Case Division.
