This Love/Hate only took three PgDns on my laptop to get to any FF content, which is amazingly efficient for Berry, though a full 10 to get to the main content. I consider Berry a great writer and a mediocre Fantasy analyst. His fantasy Ride or Die seems to be one of the better calls every year among fantasy analysts.
Berry is the first column. If Berry's ranking is 2-3 or more higher than the concensus it's a love and if 2-3 lower it's a hate. Its used to be free years ago. It was temporarily cancelled a couple years ago. People only read it because it was free lol.
Only 10 page downs before getting to the love/hate lists, Berry is slacking
Every time there's a Matthew Berry post, I try to report on how many times I had to press PgDn before reaching actual fantasy football content. Today's count: 11 PgDns. Reply
Reddit loves to hate on him but he uses stats and logic. He’s not a random Redditor going “Player X will be a league winner” and everyone who has that player will upvote. Ive only read some of the article so far but look at his AJ Dillon section. Jones will be more involved in the passing game, ceding more run opportunities to Dillon.
Matthew Berry's Love/Hate for Week 16 of 2023 season. Basically: Love - My opponent's team. Hate - My team. So congrats on the win this week. My guy always gotta write a book about how he bought a belt in 1998 before he get to what we are looking for. Came here for this.
A lot of people though the following out of his “love” list would hit: Dillon, Edmonds, Moore, Robinson, Gabe Davis, Mooney, Pitts. And a decent amount of his hate list that panned out were consensus fade picks : Jacobs, Sanders, Waddle, Cooper, Lockett. 12.
Berry had the 8 pick and all the other people skipped over Zeke letting Berry get him at 8. Berry immediately commented on how wrong that was and how Zeke should never get past pick 4 ever while the others tried to defend taking Julio over Zeke. It was then I realized Berry does know what he’s talking about, he’s just surrounded by morons.
Matthew Berry is the reason I drafted Jamaal Charles, Matte Forte, and Arian Foster in rounds 2-4 in my 2010 league. My team absolutely dominated that season, in a fashion that I had never done before and will likely never do again. Whatever he does for the rest of time, I will always have a soft spot for the Talented Mr. Roto.
Matthew Berry’s Love/Hate Post 2024 NFL Draft. I like the guys that went to good teams and I don’t like the guys that went to teams with a lot of depth. Thanks Matt.
